● 4 ounces/100 g slivered almonds
● 3 1/3 cups/500 g frozen berries
● 4 tablespoons flour
● 7 tablespoons brown sugar
● 2 ounces/50 g salted butter
● 1 packet vanilla sugar

Preparation

In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour and brown sugar. The mixture must have a crumbly texture and form fine crumbs. Then toast the slivered almonds dry in a skillet. When they are slightly browned, add the mixture and cook a few minutes without stirring. When crispy, large-sized crumbles form, stop cooking and set aside. In a saucepan, heat the berries with the vanilla sugar and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour the berries into a serving dish and sprinkle with the crumbles. Serve immediately.
