Easy and excellent for a buffet supper.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 pears<br \/>\n50g sugar<br \/>\n50cl water<br \/>\nPeel of 1 organic orange<br \/>\nSkin of \u00bd an organic lemon<br \/>\n1 stick of cinnamon<br \/>\n1 star anise<br \/>\n200g mature Comt\u00e9 cheese<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><br \/>\nHeat the water, sugar, cinnamon and star anise.<\/p>\n<p>Add the citrus fruits skins.<\/p>\n<p>Peel the pears and keep the peel to use in the fruit syrup.<\/p>\n<p>Poach the pears in the syrup with the pear peelings on very low heat for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Leave the pears in the syrup to cool.<\/p>\n<p>Cut the pears in half and strain them carefully.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the pears with attractive sticks of mature Comt\u00e9 cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Ready to enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suggestion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The pears are tastier if you cook the peel in the syrup since it contains lots of flavors and pectin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes &nbsp; A simple harmony of Comt\u00e9 cheese and the ever-popular poached pear with Ch\u00e2teau Coutet.
