The Wine Independant – 2024 Sauternes and Barsac

Château Coutet 2024: 93-95/100
The Coutet is pale lemon-straw in color. It needs a lot of shaking to coax out notes of yellow apples, juicy grapefruit, and fresh pineapples, plus hints of chalk dust and fresh ginger. The palate is tightly wound with wonderful energy and jus enough freshness, finishing ona pure orchard fruit note.
