Château Coutet 2024: 96/100
Decidedly orange blossom aromas with some acacia and nut brittle. Plenty of saffron and vanilla from oak as well. Great depth and purity despite the multi-layered complexity.
Excellent botrytis flavours of marzipan and dried apricot. Palate flooding depth and sweetness (est. 135 g/L) and breadth with a wonderful satin texture and length. I loved Coutet last year, and I love it again this. Fabulous wine.
