Aromatically this is glorious, with a punchy, expressive and coherent nose, all svelte orange, mango, tangerine, beeswax and white pepper. The palate presents the same character, with a dense core of polished white peach, mango and tangerine fruits, with pithy depth and fresh acidity, all supported by a dense bed of phenolics. This has density, purity and mineral drive, with a pithy confidence in the long finish. A super Barsac, displaying a finely concentrated sweetness along with mineral drive and uncompromising acidity. Superb. Tasted twice. (April 2025)
