AMA – Bordeaux 2018 Tasting report – Left Bank

Château Coutet 2018: 95/100
Coutet 2018 is the most lucid among the entire tasting set; despite 18 months of oak aging, every fragrance is still crystal clear. Grapefruit peel and orange zest are completed with vivid acidity, making the oily body more delicate and slenderer. On the palate, saffron, clove, ginger, and light musk flavors contribute more layers of nuance. I like the touch of tingling green Sichuan pepper very much on the aftertaste, which provides a vibrant mouth feeling from head to toe.
