Château Coutet 2025: 95/100
Intense botrytis and candied citrus peel nose with apricot and pineapple. Very creamy, dense sweet palate with fine backing acidity and plenty of rich tropical fruit. Long mouthcoating finish. Barsac seem definitely to be the star in this tricky vintage, and Coutet, comme d’habitude, is one of the greatest examples of that. Terrific wine.
